Setup & Tone Adjustment

A proper setup can completely transform an instrument. Even high-quality instruments often leave the workshop needing refinement, and student instruments are almost always held back by factory setup.

Services include bridge fitting and adjustment, soundpost fitting and tonal balancing, nut and saddle work, fingerboard dressing, string selection and optimization, and full setup packages. Each adjustment is made with the player in mind, dialing in response, projection, and comfort.

If your instrument feels stiff, unfocused, or difficult to play, setup is usually the fastest and most effective upgrade.

Repairs & Restoration

From small fixes to more involved structural work, repairs are approached with long-term stability and tonal integrity in mind.

Common repairs include crack repair, seam gluing, peg fitting, endpin and tailpiece work, and general maintenance. More advanced restoration work is also available depending on the instrument.

Every repair is done with careful attention to preserving both the function and character of the instrument.

To ensure focused, one-on-one attention, workshop visits are by appointment.
